Former Athlete Darryl Sittler has lessons to share about success and perseverance. His years in sports left him with plenty of stories too.
Born in Kitchener, Ontario, Darryl Sittler #27 was drafted 8th overall in the 1970 entry draft for the NHL. He created a record of 10 points in a game in 1976 that still remains.
Sittler was inducted in the Hockey Hall of Fame. Two years later, he was hired as a special consultant to Cliff Fletcher, then-president of the Maple Leafs. Darryl still works for the team as a Community Representative in the fields of marketing, community relations and alumni relations. Darryl is a member of the Maple Leafs Alumni. Darryl is also involved in a Cancer prevention foundation.
